Edward Bryant has spent more than four decades as an award-winning writer of fiction and non-fiction, reviewer, teacher, screenwriter, editor, mentor, and friend of MileHiCon. A recipient of two Nebula Awards, he received the American Mystery Award for Best Critic in 1989. His oft-reprinted “While She Was Out” was adapted both for Lifetime Network (with Stephanie Zimbalist) and as a feature film with Oscar winner Kim Basinger. In 2012, Arkham House published a massive retrospective collection titled On the Road to Cinnabar: The Fiction of Edward Bryant, 1970-2010.
