In celebration of the birth of H.G. Wells 150 years ago, join the world’s premier author of science fiction (characterized by scholar David Skipper) on a journey into the fantastic. Find out how he came to write his “scientific romance” classics, hear him reminisce on his early literary influences, and learn his opinion of Orson Welles' 1938 The War of the Worlds radio broadcast that panicked America. Mr. Wells will also provide his vision for the future of mankind.
