Sourdough Jackson
Sourdough Jackson discovered Jules Verne at age six, and has been reading SF ever since. Shortly after finding fandom, he met Denver fan Gail Barton at a convention, and they married in 1978. Since that time, he’s been active in many aspects of fandom, and he and Gail have accumulated a huge library of SF and fantasy books. A lifelong student of naval history, he recently published his first novel, Torpedo Junction, an alternate-history look at the Pacific Theater of World War II. He is also the author of That Old Science Fiction, a book of essays on classic SF.
