Jason Heller

Jason Heller wrote the alt-history novel Taft 2012 (Quirk) and the Goosebumps book Slappy’s Revenge (Scholastic). His next book, Strange Stars (Melville House/Random House), will trace science fiction’s influence on popular music. His stories have appeared in Apex Magazine, Expanded Horizons, Farrago’s Wainscot, and Swords V. Cthulhu, and he co-edited the anthology Cyber World (Hex). As the former nonfiction editor of Clarkesworld, he won a Hugo Award. He writes for The New Yorker, Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, Entertainment Weekly, Weird Tales, NPR.org, Tor.com, and Ann and Jeff VanderMeer’s The Time Traveler’s Almanac (Tor). He lives in Denver with his wife, Angie.
